Ziff-Davis, the parent company of IGN, has made the decision to formally acknowledge the newly established IGN Creators Guild.
This announcement was shared by the union itself on X, following its declaration of unionization on February 6.
“We are still in the process of finalizing the structure of our union, but we are extremely pleased that IGN has come to the table and acknowledged us,” the guild stated.

“To all those who have supported us by following this account, retweeting our posts, sharing us on your stories, discussing us, and signing our petition, the IGN Creators Guild expresses heartfelt gratitude for the solidarity shown by our colleagues and readers.”
Comprising more than 80 IGN employees, the IGN Creators Guild boasts a membership where over 87% of its members have signed union authorization cards.
This isn’t the first time Ziff-Davis has recognized such efforts, having previously acknowledged workers at Mashable and PCMag when they established the Ziff Davis Creators Guild back in 2018.
