Gunther recently shared his thoughts on The Rock’s WWE comeback.
With The Great One set to return to the ring at WrestleMania XL alongside Roman Reigns, anticipation is high. Gunther weighed in on The Rock’s return during an interview with The Independent, expressing excitement among fans worldwide.
He emphasized that The Rock’s presence enhances the ongoing feud between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
“Business is booming, people are really excited all over the world right now. We have The Rock back, he’s very committed right now. When you grow up watching wrestling, you love those moments of somebody making a return years after their big run, and that helps the big storyline of Cody and Roman,”
Gunther said.

Witnessing The Brahma Bull’s role in the blockbuster tag team match on Night One of WrestleMania XL adds an extra layer of intrigue to the event.
Gunther is gearing up to defend his Intercontinental Championship for the second time in a row at WrestleMania. His opponent, Sami Zayn, is expected to provide stiff competition in what promises to be a hard-hitting match.
In an exclusive interview on Wrestling’s Writing with Russo podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo weighed in, suggesting that Sami Zayn should not be the one to dethrone Gunther.
Russo emphasized the significant investment made in Gunther’s character and his impressive undefeated streak since arriving on the main roster.
“I am sorry, all the time and effort that they put into Gunther, and the streak, and how good he is, and Sami Zayn cannot be the one to beat that guy,”
Russo said.
As Gunther has yet to lose a match via pinfall or submission, all eyes will be on WrestleMania XL to see if Sami Zayn can be the one to end his unbeaten streak on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
