Hoyoverse recently unveiled that the 2.0 update for Honkai: Star Rail is set to launch on February 6, bringing exciting new features to the game. With this update, players will have the opportunity to explore the newly introduced world, Penacony, and welcome three new playable characters to the expanding roster.
Penacony marks the fourth world in Honkai: Star Rail and its Trailblaze Missions are set to unfold across updates 2.0 to 2.2, culminating in an epilogue in version 2.3.
The initial addition to the character lineup is Black Swan, a formidable five-star character. Black Swan’s basic attacks and skills in combat have the potential to inflict a stackable status called Arcana. Enemies under the Arcana state become susceptible to additional effects, the potency of which depends on the number of stacks.
Joining the ranks as another five-star character is Sparkle. Her mere presence on the team increases the maximum skill points for the entire group. Sparkle’s unique skill not only enhances the critical damage output of her selected teammate but also grants Advance Forwards, accelerating their next turn.
The third character introduced in this update is Misha, a four-star character. Misha’s ultimate ability becomes more potent as his teammates utilize more skill points in battle. Additionally, his ultimate carries a chance to inflict a Freeze on the target, adding a strategic element to the gameplay.
Honkai: Star Rail is accessible across various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, ensuring a diverse player base can enjoy the immersive experience offered by the game’s latest update.
