Dakota Kai, a member of Damage CTRL, has given a look into her future plans within WWE. While at WrestleMania XL, Kai faced defeat alongside The Kabuki Warriors.
During Night 1, Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane were bested by the trio of Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi in a six-woman tag team match. Despite the loss, the rivalry appears ongoing, with Cargill and Belair eyeing a challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
With Asuka and Sane likely defending their titles against Belair and Cargill, Kai has turned her attention to the King and Queen of the Ring. On Twitter/X, the 35-year-old wrestler dropped a four-word message hinting at her aspirations.”King of the Ring,” wrote Kai.
Regarding the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring event, it is slated for May 2024 in Saudi Arabia, with the finals set to grace the Premium Live Event. However, WWE is yet to disclose the entrants for the prestigious tournament.
In other developments, during the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE teased the ongoing feud between Bayley and Damage CTRL.
At WrestleMania XL, Bayley clinched the Women’s Championship by defeating IYO SKY. On SmackDown, she was poised to defend her title against Naomi until Tiffany Stratton’s interference caused a No Contest.

Following Stratton’s controversial actions, Kai took to Instagram, expressing Damage CTRL’s admiration for the former NXT Women’s Champion. Stratton replied with a succinct one-word message:

It remains to be seen whether Kai will participate in the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament and what lies ahead for Damage CTRL.
