WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi shares his thoughts on the potential involvement of Dustin Rhodes in his brother Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania showdown against The Bloodline.
As Cody gears up for a monumental clash with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Rikishi speculates on Dustin’s return to the Stamford-based company after five years to aid his brother against The Bloodline.
Despite being under contract with AEW, Rikishi envisions Dustin making a surprise appearance to enhance the storyline.
“I kinda see, I don’t know how that would work, but I would almost see his brother come out, Dustin Rhodes. You know, to really tie this story in, blah, blah, blah. You seen Uce call out The Rock, dropped the F-bombs on Rock, you know what I mean. I don’t know, man. I never seen Dustin cuss like that before,”
he expressed on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast. [18:48 – 19:19]
While Roman Reigns benefits from The Bloodline’s support, Cody’s allies include Jey Uso and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
Fans have eagerly awaited Dustin’s involvement in the storyline, with the AEW star hinting at a potential return via social media interactions.
Despite the speculation, the likelihood of Dustin joining forces with Cody remains slim, as acknowledged by Hall of Famer Bully Ray, who believes the chances are minimal.
