In the latest WWE RAW showdown, Dominik Mysterio faced a brutal defeat at the hands of Gunther, who left no mercy in their encounter. Reacting to his loss, Mysterio didn’t shy away from firing shots at The Ring General.
Taking to Instagram, Mysterio didn’t mince words, stating that Gunther’s hits felt like those of a “b*tch.” He captioned his post with a succinct yet cutting remark:
“All I can say is… he hits like a bit*h. #JudgmentDay.”
Responding to Mysterio’s Instagram post, Zilla Fatu, a real-life member of the Bloodline, chimed in with a brief but telling message, affirming Mysterio’s sentiment with a simple: “I knew he did [emojis] @dominik_35.”
This heated exchange comes on the heels of a previous episode of Monday Night RAW where Gunther found himself in the crosshairs of The Judgment Day faction.
The tension escalated as Gunther faced off against the male members of the faction, receiving warnings from Damian Priest and Finn Balor in the process.
In the aftermath of Gunther’s triumph over Mysterio on RAW, Priest and Balor joined forces to take down Imperium in an intense tag team match.
Adding his unique perspective to the mix, Vince Russo offered an interesting analysis of Gunther’s match against Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW.
Russo suggested that the WWE was grappling with a shortage of fresh matchups, resulting in the booking of two heel factions against each other.
During his review on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Russo commented,
“When you take away the characters, and you take away the storylines, all that you have are the matches.”
He expressed concern over the reliance on matches alone, emphasizing the importance of compelling storylines and dynamic characters in driving the narrative forward.
As WrestleMania 40 looms on the horizon, Gunther finds himself without a challenger. However, next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW promises to settle the score with a Gauntlet Match, determining The Ring General’s opponent for the grand stage of The Show of Shows.
