Bella Hadid is reportedly taking a step back from anything that doesn’t contribute positively to her long-term well-being.
Having spent years in the fashion industry, Bella recently opened up about feeling unfulfilled by putting on a “fake face” during this time.
In an honest conversation with Allure Magazine, the fashion icon got candid about her mental health challenges and journey toward self-love.
She admitted,
“After 10 years of modeling, I realized I was investing so much energy, love, and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn’t necessarily reciprocating.”
Sharing insights into her recent move to Texas, Bella acknowledged her excitement about embarking on a new chapter of her life with her close friends and “partner” Adan Banuelos.
She described this transition as the “best time” of her life and added,
“For the first time now, I’m not putting on a façade. If I don’t feel good, I won’t push myself.”
“If I’m not feeling good, I prioritize self-care. And that’s something I’ve never had the opportunity to acknowledge or practice before,” she elaborated.
Wrapping up the conversation, she emphasized,
“Now, when people see me in pictures and say I look happy, I genuinely am. I am feeling better; my tough days now were my previous good days.”
