Becky Lynch is gearing up for the defining battle of her career against Rhea Ripley, aka The Eradicator, for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania XL.
Amidst her intense training, Lynch remains active in media engagements. Recently, she shared her thoughts on the possibility of teaming up with her husband, Seth Rollins, again on WWE TV.
Their real-life relationship became a storyline once it was confirmed they were dating a few years back.
This culminated in a headline-grabbing match where they faced Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a Winners Take All Extreme Rules mixed tag team bout at Extreme Rules 2019.
Despite their star power, some fans felt their on-screen dynamic lacked authenticity and chemistry.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Becky Lynch candidly discussed her past collaborations with Seth Rollins, describing them as “rough.” She expressed openness to working with him again but emphasized the importance of WWE not overdoing it.
“The first time around was tough. It was tough for everyone, including the audience. I mean, what were they thinking? Anyway, times have changed. Now, I wouldn’t mind teaming up with him again, I’d even love to. He’s a genius and will probably be remembered as one of the greatest wrestlers ever… As long as they don’t overdo it. ‘Real-life married couple,’ that’s what they did before. ‘The real-life relationship,’ Oh my goodness, enough already. We can fight alongside each other, be badasses, but we don’t need the mushy love-dovey stuff,”
Lynch remarked.
Becky Lynch on expanding her family with Seth Rollins
Following her announcement of pregnancy on WWE RAW after the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in 2020, Lynch welcomed her and Seth Rollins’ first daughter, Roux, in December 2020.
In a recent interview, Lynch expressed openness to having another child with Rollins despite their hectic schedules.
“I wouldn’t be opposed to another baby. Our daughter is magical, making it hard not to want more. However, with our crazy schedules and my commitments like being a best-selling author, I wonder when we’ll find time. So, we’ll see what the future holds, but I’m definitely not against it,”
Lynch revealed.
The outcome of WrestleMania XL will reveal whether Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch emerge victorious as champions, adding another chapter to their storied careers.
