All Elite Wrestling’s injury list has expanded with the confirmation that former champion Julia Hart will be sidelined for an unspecified period.
Julia Hart had been absent from action leading up to AEW Revolution in March but returned in time for the Zero Hour pre-show.
However, she suffered another injury before her match with Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty, where she lost the belt. Reports suggest Hart may require surgery, although this has not been officially confirmed.
Additionally, former AEW TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs sustained a knee injury during his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match with Jon Moxley on the April 24 edition of “AEW Dynamite.”
The injury is serious, and Hobbs will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
Hobbs and Hart join a list of sidelined AEW stars, including Kenny Omega, MJF, and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. AEW President Tony Khan is optimistic about their return, with Omega set to make a special appearance in Winnipeg on the May 1 edition of “AEW Dynamite.”
