Konami has unveiled plans to release a collection of Yu-Gi-Oh! games for both the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
While the specific contents of the collection remain undisclosed at this time, Konami has provided a glimpse by revealing two titles set to be included: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of the Great Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2.
Referred to as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection in Japanese, it is important to note that this may not be the final English-language name. Initially, the collection is slated for a Japan-only release, a curious decision considering the announced games were originally launched exclusively in Japan as well.
In addition to this exciting Yu-Gi-Oh! development, Konami has stirred further interest by hinting at the possibility of porting the Silent Hill series to modern gaming consoles. This revelation emerged through one of the five short documentaries released by Konami on YouTube alongside The Short Message.
In the fourth video, a level designer involved in the creation of the long-anticipated playable teaser disclosed that Konami had approached Hexadrive, a studio known for its expertise in porting older games. The collaboration with Hexadrive initially centered around their assistance in developing The Short Message but expanded to discussions about the potential porting of the Silent Hill series.
This information has sparked anticipation and speculation among gaming enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the return of the iconic Silent Hill franchise to contemporary platforms.
