The popular co-op horror game Lethal Company, despite being in early access since late October 2023, has seen a remarkable surge of nearly 50 updates within a short span.
Developer Zeekerss has been diligent in pushing out updates but is now considering adjusting the pace and scale of these releases. They aim to transition towards fewer but more substantial updates, aiming for greater impact and depth in the game’s evolution.
In a recent post on X/Twitter, Zeekerss acknowledged the current discount on the game and confessed to being preoccupied with personal matters, yet assured followers that Version 50 is in progress. They expressed a desire for updates to feel akin to unleashing a menagerie of creatures from an alien zoo, emphasizing the need for updates to be significant and transformative.
I really want content updates to Lethal Company to feel like I broke into an alien zoo and released all the animals.

“I could release it now, but I want it to be really substantial. I’m starting to think it may be better for all updates to be bigger and less frequent,” Zeekerss shared, echoing the sentiment of prioritizing quality over quantity.
For fans seeking an even deeper immersion into Lethal Company, a fan-made VR mod by DaXcess has been released. This mod offers compatibility with various VR headsets, introducing hand movement and motion-based controls. Moreover, it seamlessly integrates into the game, ensuring a harmonious experience for both VR and non-VR players sharing the same environment.
