WWE’s Xavier Woods was recently spotted backstage at Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot event, where he was seen with Davey Boy Smith Jr. This comes after WWE’s successful King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia last Saturday.
Woods has not competed in a match since his defeat by Gunther on the April 29 edition of RAW earlier this year. Meanwhile, WWE and MLW were involved in a lawsuit earlier this year.
In other news, Kofi Kingston has stated that The New Day has no plans of adding another member to their group. The New Day is currently composed of Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E. Unfortunately, Big E suffered a broken neck in 2022 and is still not back in the ring. However, he has been working with the company as an analyst and has been seen during the kickoff shows for premium live events.
Kingston stated that if another person joins the faction, it would become something different, and it would not be The New Day anymore. He compared it to adding cream to tomato soup, which changes the entire taste of the soup.
The New Day is a popular faction amongst wrestling fans, and it remains to be seen what the promotion has planned for the group moving forward on RAW.
