A WWE Superstar has recently issued an apology for a social media post featuring an Ole Anderson shirt, following the wrestling legend’s passing at the age of 81 last month.
WWE NXT star Brooks Jensen found himself under scrutiny after donning an Anderson shirt amidst accusations of racism. Jensen, seeking to honor the veteran wrestler, took to social media to express regret for his actions.

He clarified that he was unaware of the allegations against Anderson at the time he wore the shirt and pledged to learn from the experience.
“I will never support any racism, hate, or bullying. While I respected Ole for his wrestling it was news to me after wearing the t-shirt that he was associated with these allegations. I’ve noticed my ‘looks’ and where I’m from are frequently stigmatized with the underbelly of our society (i.e racists) but this mullet just likes to give love and party. My apologies to anyone who knew the allegations prior and were offended by the shirt. I’m learning and this was noted,”
he conveyed in his post.
Meanwhile, recent WWE programming has seen the return of The Rock, who has been using colorful language during his appearances, sparking discussion among talent about a perceived double standard regarding language usage.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo weighed in on this issue during Legion of RAW, referencing Cody Rhodes’s recent on-air profanity and questioning the consistency of the promotion’s PG rating.
“I’m like, ‘Wait a minute guys, did I not say this 20 years ago?’ Did I not say 20 years ago they were nowhere near the PG-13 line? Now, all of a sudden when Rock comes in and breaks the rule, now, we can all cuss under the same rating?”
Russo commented during the discussion.
While the wrestling community mourns Ole Anderson’s passing, tributes continue to pour in for the wrestling icon, including mentions on mainstream platforms like CBS Sunday Morning.
