Ivar of The Viking Raiders was slated for an in-ring appearance on tonight’s WWE Monday Night RAW, but a twist of fate altered the plans as he wasn’t medically cleared to compete, resulting in a replacement.
Originally set to face Andrade, Ivar’s absence was revealed by RAW GM Adam Pearce in a video posted by WWE on X (formerly Twitter).
Pearce disclosed that due to medical reasons, El Idolo will now square off against Giovanni Vinci instead.

The last time Ivar stepped into the ring was against Sami Zayn on the March 4 edition of RAW, where he delivered a memorable performance, culminating in a victory.
However, chaos ensued post-match as Bronson Reed stormed the scene, setting the stage for another intriguing matchup on tonight’s show.
In addition to these developments, anticipation for RAW is at an all-time high, especially with the impending return of CM Punk, the hometown hero, following his recovery from a tricep injury suffered at Royal Rumble.
Furthermore, excitement mounts for the return of The Rock on the go-home edition of RAW before WrestleMania.
The Hollywood star recently stirred up excitement with a bold message to the WWE Universe ahead of his appearance, promising an electrifying night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
With WrestleMania XL looming, the April 1 edition of RAW marks the final countdown.
The Rock’s in-ring return on Night One of The Show of Shows alongside Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins adds another layer of anticipation to an already star-studded event.
