Booker T, who serves as a commentator for NXT, is known for his ad-libs during Williams’ entrances. Williams revealed that he interacts with the wrestling legend every week and receives a lot of advice from him. He added that Booker was very helpful and gave him a shout-out, stating that their on-screen relationship is a true reflection of their off-screen bond.
Williams also expressed his desire to face Booker T in the ring, stating that it would be an honor to share the ring with the WCW legend. Booker T made his WWE in-ring return during the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match, but he didn’t win the match. However, Williams is hopeful that he will get the opportunity to face Booker T in the ring.
Williams is set to defend his NXT Championship against Ethan Page at Battleground this Sunday. If Booker T agrees to face him in the ring, it would undoubtedly be a dream come true for the NXT Champion.
