With Elden Ring’s second anniversary approaching, fans of the action RPG have eagerly awaited news of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
While it was known that the DLC had entered development shortly after Elden Ring’s initial release in February 2022, FromSoftware has been relatively quiet about updates. However, recent Steam records suggest that the expansion is in its final stages of development, transitioning from quality assurance to debugging.
There’s speculation among fans that tomorrow’s showcase might reveal a release date for the DLC, given FromSoftware’s apparent progress in its development. Only time, roughly 15 hours to be precise, will tell if this anticipation will be met.
