The Undertaker recently shared his thoughts on WWE’s evolving terrain under Triple H’s guidance, expressing hope for a specific change to come to fruition.
During a recent episode of the Six Feet Under podcast, The Phenom commended the depth of the WWE women’s division.
Despite setbacks like the injuries to Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair, he highlighted the division’s resilience, citing talents like Bayley, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill. However, he raised a longstanding issue: the absence of midcard titles for women.
The Deadman proposed the introduction of Women’s Intercontinental and Women’s United States Championships for both RAW and SmackDown. He explained his view, stating,
“The women’s division is really getting good. You got Jade; you got Rhea; you got Charlotte; you’ve got Bayley; you’ve got Naomi. It’s deep. The division [is] deep. I would like to see a Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and possibly, because there’s two brands, a Women’s US Champion. I don’t think you need more than that. You don’t need a TV champion.”
Reflecting on the current state of the women’s division, The Undertaker acknowledged its depth despite setbacks like Rhea Ripley’s injury. He highlighted the emergence of talents like Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, and Nia Jax. Notably, Morgan’s potential alliance with Dominik Mysterio could further boost her status.
On SmackDown, The Undertaker noted the depth, especially with Damage Control still intact. With Bayley as the WWE Women’s Champion and talents like Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton, the division boasts a rich array of talent.
In other news, The Undertaker has inked a new deal with WWE, marking his return after his appearance at WrestleMania XL.
This deal was reportedly finalized before the event, according to Mike Johnson of PW Insider. The Undertaker’s last match took place at WrestleMania 36 in a memorable Boneyard Match against AJ Styles.
