In a surprise appearance during the Monday night show, The Final Boss made his presence felt by interrupting The American Nightmare during the opening segment.
Their encounter escalated, culminating in a brutal beatdown that left Rhodes bloodied in the closing segment.
Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, The Rock underscored his reputation for keeping promises with a concise message, stating, “Man of my word. – Final Boss.”
WWE superstar Becky Lynch recently delved into the brewing feud between The Rock, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes ahead of WrestleMania 40’s Night One, where Rollins and Rhodes will team up against their formidable opponents.
Speaking on The MMA Hour, Lynch emphasized the magnitude of a potential showdown between Rollins and Reigns, highlighting the marquee value of their clash:
“I mean, I have a husband on the back end that’s going to main event WrestleMania, you know, and it’s going to be a huge match where it’s going to be him vs. Roman – which could be the main event of any show. Him and Cody vs. Roman and The Rock and you talk about The Rock is one of the biggest stars in the world and… So you got Seth and Roman who have so much history, and then Cody finishing the story. So, I love that.”
