Former UFC and WWE superstar Ronda Rousey recently made waves on social media, breaking her silence with a heartfelt announcement regarding a significant personal endeavor.
Rousey, renowned for her dominance in both UFC and WWE, initially signed with the Stamford-based wrestling promotion in 2017, where she quickly rose to prominence and captured several championships.
However, in October 2023, she announced her retirement from professional wrestling. Despite this declaration, she made a surprise one-off appearance at Ring of Honor shortly after.
Taking to her Instagram account, Rousey shared the exciting news that her book, ‘Our Fight’, has finally been released after two years of dedicated effort.
Expressing her joy at seeing the hardcover version for the first time, she credited the work of @ewillphoto for elevating the project to new heights.
Additionally, she revealed that signed copies of her book are now available at Waterstones stores in the UK.
In her post, Rousey wrote,
“After almost 2 years of work, seeing #OurFight in hardcover for the first time is hard to describe – seeing the work of @ewillphoto just takes it to another level. So I’m calling on all UK people!! Signed copies 📚of Our Fight are hitting the shelves at @waterstones!”
Meanwhile, WWE star Becky Lynch recently addressed the possibility of a match against Rousey in the future during an interview with Daily Mail UK.
Lynch expressed openness to the idea, stating that if Rousey were to return to WWE, she would welcome the opportunity to face off against “The Baddest Woman on the Planet.”
“Some things have their seasons, and we didn’t have that season. If she ever comes back again, maybe that season will be right there. Maybe it will be springtime on that story again, but it never got back to that,”
Lynch remarked.
As speculation swirls among fans regarding Rousey’s potential return and a dream match against Lynch, the wrestling world eagerly awaits any further developments in this ongoing saga.
