Rocksteady is currently in the process of compensating players who purchased the digital deluxe version of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League with $20 worth of in-game currency. The reason behind this gesture stems from a bug that surfaced shortly after the game’s early access release for digital deluxe edition owners.
This bug caused the game to “auto-complete,” necessitating Rocksteady to take the game offline to address the issue. Given the game’s always-online nature, this temporary removal rendered it unplayable until the studio resolved the problem.
According to a report from VGC, Rocksteady conveyed an in-game message to Deluxe Edition players, expressing gratitude for their patience during the initial launch server updates.
The message stated, “Thank you for being one of our first console players during early access of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. We recognize that you’ve been patient with us during our initial launch server updates, and we’d like to show our appreciation for your patience with a special gift of 2000 LuthorCoins. Thank you again!”
For those unfamiliar, LuthorCoins serve as Suicide Squad’s premium currency, and the compensation of 2,000 coins is equivalent to approximately $20. The report further details that standard skins can be acquired for 1,000 coins, while “Deluxe” and “Legendary” skins may cost up to 2,000 coins.
