WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long shared his prediction for the Women’s World Championship match at WWE Elimination Chamber, expressing his belief that Nia Jax would emerge victorious over Rhea Ripley.
Long acknowledged Ripley’s toughness but leaned towards Nia Jax winning the title at the premium live event.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long voiced his opinion that Nia Jax would take the Women’s World Championship from Rhea Ripley at Elimination Chamber.
Long emphasized that while Ripley is undoubtedly tough, he believes Nia Jax will secure the victory in their upcoming bout.
“I am gonna go with my baby mama, Nia… I really believe so. Don’t get me wrong, I am not taking nothing away from Rhea Ripley. This girl is tough as hell, you understand what I am saying? I have watched her in the ring, she ain’t no joke. But I am just saying, it’s my opinion, and I am not saying because I love Nia Jax or whatever. But I just believe that Nia will take this one.”
In a previous perspective, wrestling veteran Vince Russo had criticized Rhea Ripley’s booking, expressing concerns about over-exposure. On Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW, Russo commented on WWE potentially overusing Ripley, suggesting it could diminish her impact over time.
“I don’t know, but like I said man, they are so over-exposing her right now. I mean she was all over this show, that is not good, because if she’s all over this show, it’s just a matter of time before she means nothing,” Russo said.
These discussions offer insights into varying opinions on Rhea Ripley’s booking and the potential outcome of her matches in WWE.
