MMA journalist Nina-Marie Daniele has shared her thoughts after it was confirmed that Jamahal Hill is set to make his return to the octagon following his recent loss at UFC 300 against Alex Pereira.
Hill, also known as ‘Sweet Dreams’, faced Pereira in the main event of the historic card, marking his comeback after recovering from a torn Achilles tendon. Despite Hill’s promise of an explosive finish, Pereira secured victory with his signature left hook and follow-up strikes in the first round.

Rather than taking time away to reflect on his loss, Hill has opted to dive back into action later this summer. The UFC confirmed last night that Hill will square off against Khalil Rountree on June 29 for International Fight Week.
The response from fans has been largely positive, with many praising Hill for his quick turnaround.
Among those offering support was Nina-Marie Daniele, who has developed a friendship with Hill in recent months after interviewing him on her YouTube channel.
Daniele echoed the sentiments of many fans, expressing her excitement to see Hill back in the octagon. She wrote:
“SAVAGE @sweet_Dreams_jhill 🙌”
In a separate incident, Daniele responded to UFC middleweight champ Sean Strickland’s controversial opinion on platonic friendships between men and women. Strickland claimed that such friendships are impossible and suggested that if a woman has male friends, it’s a red flag for a relationship.
Daniele, who shares a friendship with Strickland and has her own partner, humorously responded to the tweet, feigning dismay at their newfound inability to be friends.
She also extended an invitation to Paulo Costa for a collaborative interview, as Costa is set to face Strickland in an upcoming bout.
