Nimble Giant Entertainment, a subsidiary of Embracer, has reportedly terminated the employment of 28 staff members. According to sources familiar with the situation, these layoffs follow similar actions taken in 2023.
Several affected employees have taken to social media to express their search for new employment opportunities. Nimble Giant Entertainment, established in 2002 and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is known for titles like Star Trek: Infinite, Quantum League, and Champion of Regnum.
Having been acquired by Embracer Group in 2020 along with multiple other studios, Nimble Giant Entertainment now joins the ranks of Eidos Montreal, Black Forest Games, and Lost Boys Interactive as the latest Embracer-owned studios to experience workforce reductions.
