Nick Aldis has been making significant strides since assuming the role of General Manager for SmackDown last October. With a firm grip on operations, he’s been keen on bringing top-tier talent to the show.
The former TNA World Champion recently addressed a major development following Bron Breakker’s official signing with the blue brand on X.
The WWE SmackDown roster is brimming with star power, featuring luminaries like Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Logan Paul, LA Knight, AJ Styles, and more.
In the latest episode of WWE Smackdown, another notable addition was made to the blue brand’s ranks. Prior to the main event, Nick Aldis graced the stage to introduce Bron Breakker as the newest member of the Friday night show.
Breakker sealed the deal in front of the fans, adding to the excitement. Aldis took to X to share his thoughts on the signing, posting photos from the SmackDown segment featuring Breakker, alongside snapshots with Scott Steiner, Breakker’s uncle.
“How it started —> How it’s going,” Aldis captioned the post.

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are no strangers to heated discussions over signing WWE Superstars. Their clashes have been evident, notably during debates over Randy Orton’s recruitment a few months back. The tension resurfaced when it came to securing Bron Breakker’s transition to the main roster post-Royal Rumble.
Bron Breakker made waves earlier this year with his Royal Rumble debut. The former NXT Champion entered the match as the 20th entrant, leaving his mark by eliminating heavyweight contenders like Omos and Jey Uso, despite a brief stint of just over five minutes.
Interestingly, Bron Breakker’s involvement in the Royal Rumble wasn’t a long-standing plan. Reports indicated his last-minute inclusion as a substitute for Brock Lesnar, allegedly tied to Lesnar’s purported association with a sexual assault case involving Vince McMahon.
