Mike Perry recently revealed details about a potential bare-knuckle boxing match with Darren Till that didn’t come to fruition.
Speaking on “The MMA Hour” with Ariel Helwani, Perry explained that the fight, initially targeted for April 27 at KnuckleMania IV, fell through because Till turned down a significant offer.

Helwani brought up the topic, mentioning rumors that Till had declined a substantial sum. Perry confirmed, saying,
“I heard he said no to over $2 Million dollars. So you know, Darren is just yapping away over there. A lot of guys say they want to do it with boxing gloves or with gloves at least of some kind. With the BKFC contract I have, that money is there. Those fights will happen in the future at some point. But a big part of the contract is that I can do other things as well.” He added,
“If the right money comes along, it just has to be right because I’m being paid very handsomely over here in BKFC. After this fight, it’s like all I’ve been doing is promoting for them and I’m focused on this fight. But just to branch out and put my ideas and my thoughts, I have a big opportunity to make the same amount of money if the right promoters come together to make fights happen in other places. So Darren Till said no to that much money then I don’t know what he’s looking for.”
Mike Perry’s Upcoming Bout at KnuckleMania IV
Despite the setback with Till, Perry remains the headline fighter at the upcoming KnuckleMania IV, where he will face Thiago Alves, the inaugural BKFC middleweight champion.
This event is set to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on April 27.
Alves, who has a 2-0 record in bare-knuckle boxing, returns to the sport after a three-year hiatus, during which he solidified his reputation by becoming the first-ever 175-pound champion in BKFC.
Perry, who is also undefeated in the sport, has a significant history with this event. He made his promotional debut at KnuckleMania II, where he defeated Julian Lane, a former opponent of Alves. Since then,
Perry has secured victories over prominent fighters such as Michael ‘Venom’ Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez in BKFC competitions.
