In a showdown against Nia Jax, Morgan secured her shot at Becky Lynch’s title. Their clash stemmed from a heated altercation earlier in the show.
Adding to the significance, it was Jax’s farewell from RAW, set to transition to SmackDown post the WWE Draft.
Despite the win, Russo expressed reservations about Morgan’s demeanor backstage after the match, suggesting it undermined Jax’s character.
He noted:
“After she has that lengthy match with Nia Jax and she winds up going over, Bro, she is walking around in the back fresh as a daisy. Like you think about that. If I am Nia Jax and I see that pre-tape on the playback, I am worthless.”
