In a recent interview on WWE’s The Bump, Kevin Owens shared his thoughts on teaming up with Randy Orton to form R-KO and take on The Bloodline. Despite their recent loss to The Bloodline at Backlash, Owens expressed his enjoyment of teaming up with Orton, saying that having him as a partner was “one of the best things” he had experienced.
Owens and Orton formed an unlikely alliance to take on The Bloodline, but their match against the faction at Backlash didn’t go as planned. Despite having control of the match for a significant portion, the arrival of Tanga Loa turned the tide in favor of The Bloodline. The match ultimately ended with both Owens and Orton left injured and unable to do much but nurse their wounds as they walked away.
When asked about their experience teaming up, Owens made it clear that he didn’t have much respect for The Bloodline, but he valued the opportunity to team up with Orton. He said that despite not being able to get the job done at Backlash, he enjoyed the experience of teaming up with the Viper.
As Orton prepares to face AJ Styles on this week’s episode of SmackDown, fans are left wondering if R-KO will continue to take on The Bloodline in the coming weeks. With the team currently outnumbered on SmackDown, it’s possible that they may look to add another member to their team. Cody Rhodes, who recently defeated AJ Styles, is currently without a feud, making him a potential candidate to join forces with R-KO.
Only time will tell if Owens and Orton will get another shot at The Bloodline, or if they’ll need to regroup and refocus their efforts. One thing is certain, however: R-KO is not going down without a fight.
