Recently released WWE Superstar, Jinder Mahal, has candidly discussed his departure from the company and outlined his plans moving forward.
In a wave of releases by WWE, notable talents like Cameron Grimes, Xia Li, and Indus Sher were let go, with Mahal being one of the most prominent names.
Having achieved milestones like defeating Randy Orton to claim the WWE Championship at Backlash 2017 and contending for the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins earlier this year, Mahal’s departure garnered attention.
Taking to social media, Mahal released a heartfelt video expressing gratitude to those who supported him during his tenure and acknowledging the enriching experiences throughout his twelve years with the company.
“Twelve years, two runs. I got to see and do so many amazing things, so many dream matches, traveled the world, got to do things that I never thought I’d be able to accomplish, championships, being in a rock band, it’s been an amazing journey,” he shared.
Looking ahead, Mahal outlined his future aspirations, emphasizing his commitment to presenting himself authentically and pursuing his goals on his terms.
“I will only present myself in a way that I want to. I will only do things that I want to. I will only go places that I want to. I still have many goals, many dream matches, many places I want to go. Where do I make an impact? India, Europe, Japan, Canada, Red Hook section of Brooklyn, stay tuned. You got about 11 more weeks, Maharaja out,” he declared.
