Jey Uso recently addressed the possibility of reuniting with his brother, Jimmy Uso, in the future. The iconic tag team split earlier this year, with Jey leaving The Bloodline and Roman Reigns, while Jimmy stayed loyal to the Tribal Chief.
The Usos, hailed as one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history, amassed multiple Tag Team Championships and hold the record for the longest tag title reign. Jey, disenchanted with Reigns’ rule, made the move to WWE RAW after departing from the Samoan faction.
In an interview on Jackie Redmond’s show, Main Event Jey shared his thoughts on The Usos’ potential reunion:
“Roman knows this, my brothers know this, as long as The Tribal Chief has his finger on Jimmy and Solo, it’s never going to happen. So y’all just come this way, just come to Monday, man.” (From 35:24 to 35:35)
From Jey’s words, a Usos reunion seems unlikely, as Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa remain firmly aligned with their Tribal Chief.
Despite Jey Uso’s move to WWE RAW for a solo journey, The Bloodline continues to cast a shadow over him. Jimmy Uso even interfered in his Intercontinental Championship match against Gunther on RAW.
Speaking on the Jackie Redmond show, Main Event Jey acknowledged that The Bloodline always keeps an eye on him, emphasizing his pursuit of individual success:
“I do, Jackie. I never said it out loud, but I do. I feel like he’s always… the whole family is always watching me because I am supposed to be with the family. But, guess what? You are allowed to go out there and get it on your own, Uce. You are allowed to go out there and chase your own dreams, Uce, you know.” (From 32:34 to 32:51)
Despite the family dynamics, Jey Uso is determined to carve his path in singles competition. While facing challenges from The Bloodline, he remains focused on chasing his dreams, with aspirations of capturing the Intercontinental Championship.
The unfolding chapters will reveal whether Jey can overcome these obstacles and secure his first singles championship in WWE.
