As WWE WrestleMania XL draws closer, anticipation builds with a stacked match card for the premium live event.
This week’s Monday Night RAW episode saw Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce unveil a thrilling addition: Damian Priest and Finn Balor defending their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title in a Six-Pack Ladder Match at The Show of Shows.
The path to determining the five challenging tag teams will unfold through a series of matches across both brands in the upcoming weeks.

Unsurprisingly, the reigning champions weren’t exactly thrilled by the announcement. Not only do they face the daunting task of defending against five teams, but their challenges could escalate with the potential return of the Hardy Boyz.
This legendary tag team currently plies their trade in AEW. While Matt Hardy made the jump to the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2020, Jeff followed suit two years later.
Reports from Fightful Select hint at a contract expiration for Matt this March, with no word yet on whether AEW plans to extend his tenure. Jeff Hardy’s contract, on the other hand, faced extensions due to injuries and suspensions.
While the prospect of the Hardy Boyz gracing the Stamford-based promotion with their presence again sounds intriguing, it might not materialize this year, given their contracts with AEW don’t expire concurrently.
The duo has expressed a strong desire to continue working together, especially considering they may be nearing the twilight of their illustrious careers.
In 2022, WWE reportedly reached out to Jeff Hardy for a potential return and induction into the Hall of Fame. However, the former world champion declined the offer, citing timing concerns.

He emphasized his preference for a joint induction with his brother, Matt, rather than as a solo inductee.
Looking ahead, three qualifying matches have been confirmed for next week’s WWE RAW. The New Day will clash with Alpha Academy, DIY will face The Creed Brothers, and the showdown between Awesome Truth (MIZ and R-Truth) and Indus Sher will round out the tag team affairs.
The stage is set for an exciting journey to determine which tag teams will secure their spot in the Six-Pack Ladder Match at WWE WrestleMania XL.
