On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Candice LeRae’s heel persona persisted as she capitalized on an injured Katana Chance, clinching a victory by submission.
LeRae’s tactics included targeting Kayden Carter initially and then ruthlessly exploiting Chance’s injury to seal the win.
This heel turn left LeRae’s tag team partner, Indi Hartwell, visibly shocked. However, it may foreshadow Hartwell’s own potential shift towards a villainous role.

Despite Hartwell’s initial disapproval of LeRae’s actions, continued success in matches could sway her allegiance.
Hartwell’s last portrayal of a heel character in WWE was during her feud with Persia Pirotta a few years ago. Since then, she has predominantly played the role of a babyface.
Nevertheless, LeRae’s turn presents an enticing opportunity for Hartwell to explore a new direction.
Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Hartwell will follow suit and embrace a heel persona like her tag team partner.
In a revealing disclosure, Candice LeRae shed light on her hiatus from WWE when her contract expired in May 2022, coinciding with her maternity leave.
Uncertain about her future, LeRae expressed a desire to return to the ring promptly, even considering options outside WWE. However, her husband and fellow WWE Superstar, Johnny Gargano, advised patience.
Months later, WWE icons Triple H and Shawn Michaels extended an offer for LeRae to return, which she readily accepted without hesitation.
“The process was me being like, ‘I’m ready,’ and my husband saying, ‘Just wait.’ When Shawn and Hunter reached out, it was a no brainer. This is where I wanted to be. This is where we wanted to be our whole lives. It’s home,”
LeRae recounted.
After her comeback in September 2022, LeRae resumed her role as a babyface.
However, with her recent heel turn, the possibility arises for LeRae and Hartwell to mount a formidable challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, leaving fans intrigued about their future endeavors.
