Jim Cornette, a former WWE manager, recently expressed his dissatisfaction with The Bloodline’s absence from the Elimination Chamber event.
WWE wrapped up a highly successful weekend in Perth, Australia, where they hosted the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event at the Optus Stadium, drawing a massive crowd of 52,000 enthusiastic fans.
During an episode of the Jim Cornette Experience, the veteran wrestling figure noted the absence of The Bloodline, despite the airing of a video package showcasing the faction during the event.
Cornette found it peculiar that although The Bloodline was featured in the video, none of its members were present at the venue in Australia.
This absence became apparent when the segment transitioned to The Grayson Waller Effect, where Cody Rhodes challenged the faction without receiving a response.
“They had a package of The Bloodline saga with the up-to-date business with the Rock and what Cody’s been involved in. Do you think it was after this segment that people realized that The Bloodline is not even in the fu*king building?”
Cornette remarked, highlighting the sudden realization of fans about The Bloodline’s absence.
Cornette also criticized the talk show segment, The Grayson Waller Show, for lacking excitement.
He found the ending, where Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins attacked Austin Theory with their finishing moves, to be underwhelming and suggested that it failed to engage the audience effectively.
“Cody and Seth just beat up Theory and give him their moves. Waller stood back and let them do it. He shouldn’t have spoke up I guess. That was the end of it. In 20 fu*king minutes. I mean, I’ve seen people have conversations on airplanes that was more exciting. For a stadium for 50,000 people, that’s all they got?”
Cornette criticized the lackluster nature of the segment, questioning its suitability for such a large-scale event.
Cornette also noted Waller’s passive role during the assault on Austin Theory and speculated about potential future storylines involving Waller and Theory on SmackDown.
