WWE could potentially lose one of its longest-tenured female superstars, Natalya, as her contract is set to expire this month. However, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan believes that the 42-year-old star will continue with WWE for the rest of her career, possibly in a different role.
Morgan, a TNA legend, praised Natalya’s physical condition on the Gigantic Pop podcast, noting that she is in better shape now than when she made her debut. He suggested that she should be running the coaching of NXT’s women’s division.
On the other hand, wrestling veteran Konnan criticized WWE’s booking of Natalya on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast. Despite being in shape and capable of performing well, Natalya has suffered many defeats on Monday Night RAW, NXT, and Main Event. Konnan questioned why Creative continues to book her in losing matches and accused the company of never taking her seriously.
Natalya last competed on the May 20 episode of Main Event, where she lost to Kiana James. Whether she will re-sign with WWE remains to be seen.
Fans have expressed their opinions on whether Natalya should leave WWE after her contract expires. Supporters of Natalya argue that she deserves better booking and creative direction. Meanwhile, others believe that she should consider leaving the company and exploring other opportunities.
Natalya’s future with WWE remains uncertain as her contract is set to expire this month. While some speculate that she may leave the company, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan suggested that she could transition to a coaching role in NXT’s women’s division. With her wealth of experience and wrestling skills, Natalya is undoubtedly an asset to WWE and the wrestling industry as a whole.
