Supermassive Games’ co-founders, Pete Samuels, and Joe Samuels, have announced their decision to step down from their roles.
In a statement shared on social media, Pete Samuels expressed that he made the decision to leave the gaming industry alongside his brother with careful consideration.
He emphasized that his choice was based on personal well-being, and he remains proud of the legacy they built together over the years. Samuels also expressed admiration for the Supermassive Team and their remarkable accomplishments.
Pete Samuels served as the CEO, while Joe Samuels held the position of commercial director until his retirement. The duo played pivotal roles in the studio’s success, overseeing the release of notable titles like Man of Medan, Little Hope, and The Devil in Me.
As the torch passes to a new era, Robert Henrysson has assumed the role of CEO for the game development company. In this capacity, Henrysson will lead the Supermassive leadership team, guiding the studio into its next chapter.
