Following the Backlash France pre-show, where he appeared alongside Big E and Jackie Redmond, Punk revealed that he got stuck in the bathroom and by the time he came out, everyone had already left the building. To make matters worse, he missed his flight and was unable to watch the premium live event.
However, despite being trapped in the WWE HQ, Punk didn’t let his situation dampen his spirits. He took to Instagram to give his fans an update on his situation, roaming around the building and even taking shots at his rival, Drew McIntyre. In a hilarious gesture, Punk came across a poster of current WWE Women’s Champion Bayley and edited the photo, adding his own twist to it.
This is not the first time Punk has spoken his mind about his return to WWE at the Survivor Series: WarGames last November in Chicago. During the Countdown to WWE Backlash France, Punk shared his honest opinion about his return, claiming that the Chicago crowd was the loudest he had ever experienced.
Interestingly, Punk revealed that he might make an appearance on tonight’s RAW, which is set to take place in Hartford, Connecticut, just a stone’s throw away from the WWE HQ.
