The ongoing grievances between Jack Perry and CM Punk have resurfaced once again, particularly in the aftermath of Punk’s frank interview on “The MMA Hour.”
Discussing the matter on “Busted Open Radio,” WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray weighed in, expressing support for Punk’s stance against Perry’s behavior following an incident during All In.
“This isn’t solely a Punk issue. It’s a Jack Perry issue. It’s about a young, disrespectful attitude,” Bully remarked. “I fully endorse every word CM Punk has spoken about Jack Perry because I had my own encounter with him in England a year ago.
It wasn’t exactly an ‘incident,’ as if it were, Perry wouldn’t still be around. But Perry came across as disrespectful, particularly when I made the effort to introduce myself and extend a friendly gesture, only to be brushed off. Disregarded.”
Bully refrained from going into further details regarding Perry’s alleged disrespect.
Punk and Perry’s conflict escalated to a physical altercation at the pay-per-view event, sparked by Perry’s comment about “real glass,” referencing a previous disagreement over Perry’s interest in using glass and Punk’s subsequent decision to disclose details about it.
Perry currently remains suspended from AEW, while Punk faced termination, a controversial move that eventually led to Punk’s return to WWE several months later.
