Aoki Lee Simmons seems to be grappling with emotions following her split from boyfriend Vittorio Assaf, especially after their recent vacation filled with public displays of affection.
In a since-deleted Instagram Story shared on Tuesday, April 9, the 21-year-old candidly expressed her feelings, stating,
“I’m depresso espresso, but I did indeed have to share. I found where all my packages had been going too?”
Alongside the message, Aoki appeared in a photo seated among garbage bags.
The breakup was revealed after Us Weekly confirmed that Aoki and the 65-year-old Assaf had parted ways. According to a source, their relationship was never firmly established from the start.
“It’s over. It was never a thing from the beginning,” the insider stated. “It was barely anything.”
The source clarified that their fling was never defined by a label, stating, “It wasn’t a relationship.”
Aoki and Assaf’s romance stirred significant attention over the weekend due to their notable 44-year age difference.
As reported by Page Six, they were first seen engaging in affectionate gestures during a Caribbean getaway on April 2. While Aoki shared glimpses of their beach retreat on social media, Assaf was conspicuously absent from her Instagram posts.
Another source previously revealed that Assaf was enjoying his time with Aoki as their relationship unfolded. However, the insider noted that the age gap was unusual for Assaf, who has children older than Aoki, attributing his attraction to her youthful energy.
