WWE Superstar Andrade recently took to social media to share a heartwarming photo featuring his wife, Charlotte Flair.
Back in December during an episode of SmackDown, Flair suffered a significant injury, tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. This unfortunate setback meant The Queen would have to undergo a lengthy recovery process, keeping her out of action for months.
Nevertheless, despite the challenges, the former WWE Women’s Champion has been diligently focused on her rehabilitation and has been making impressive progress towards her comeback. Andrade shared a glimpse of their dedication on Instagram, posting a photo of the couple after a rigorous workout session.
“Workout!!” captioned Andrade alongside the snapshot.
Andrade made a notable return to WWE during the Men’s Royal Rumble match in 2024. Following his tenure with All Elite Wrestling, the former NXT Champion rejoined the Stamford-based organization. Currently featuring on RAW, he’s yet to step into the ring for a singles match since his return, while Flair’s last bout was on SmackDown.
Meanwhile, the dynamic between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair has been a focal point of WWE narratives. Their on-screen clashes intensified, notably after a contentious championship exchange segment on SmackDown in 2021.
Speaking to the Daily Mail UK, Lynch delved into the complexities of her relationship with Flair:
“Look, I think Charlotte and I are always going to be butting heads, right? Because we both want to be the very best and with that, it’s hard to have an eternal symbiotic relationship.”
She further expressed:
“But, it was nice. Animosity, especially for a long time, begins to weigh on you and begins to get heavy and it’s nice to get a break from that… But you can’t get too much of that. This is wrestling, man. We’re selling the good stuff, we’re selling conflict.”
While Flair’s recovery timeline initially suggested a prolonged absence, her rapid progress hints at a potential return to the ring sooner than anticipated, much to the anticipation of WWE fans awaiting her comeback.
