AEW has disclosed that there will be a development regarding Tony Khan during tonight’s “AEW Collision.”
The CEO faced an assault from Jack Perry and The Young Bucks, with Kazuchika Okada observing, on Wednesday’s episode of “AEW Dynamite.”
Since then, Khan has been spotted sporting a neck brace to maintain the narrative of the injury during his media appearances.
However, fans won’t have to wait long for updates on his condition. The company has confirmed through a social media post that it will be addressed during “Collision.”
The announcement stated, “We’ll have an update on the medical condition of AEW GM & CEO Tony Khan, after he was attacked by The Elite on AEW Dynamite.”
The attack on Khan marked Perry’s return to AEW TV after an absence of eight months, during which he was with NJPW.
The groundwork for his return was laid when the Young Bucks aired footage of the All In altercation between him and CM Punk during “Dynamite” before their tag team title match against FTR.
Perry eventually made his comeback to assist the Bucks in securing the title win and formally aligning with The Elite, alongside them and Okada, at AEW’s Dynasty pay-per-view last weekend.
